چکیده

Virtual Reality Environments (VRE) which simulate reality and thus present a safer learning environment, are increasingly being adopted to simulate complex systems. Such systems make the process of engineering virtual environments a complex task, especially due to the abundance of dynamic data types like behaviors. In parallel, distribution services have become essential following advances in telecommunications and the subsequent demand on mobile technologies. Hence, middleware enables technologies to provide such services to existing and newly-developed applications. Data Distribution Service (DDS) is a middleware standard for real-time applications based on a peer-to-peer architecture. DDS requires awareness about the type of distributed data which is achieved by defining an information-model. Consequently, distributing VRE using DDS complicates the development process of its information-model in order to meet the requirements of complex data types. In this paper, we propose a generic informationmodel in order to facilitate the structuring of domain models and ensure their reusability. The Inhibitory Effect of Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG on Vancomycin Resistant Enterococcus faecalis Colonization in Mouse

Background&Aims: Vancomycin Resistant Enterococci (VRE) are among the most common nosocomial pathogens worldwide. The intestinal tract provides a major source for transmission of these bacteria. Probiotics are living microorganisms that moderate use of them has inhibitory effect on intestinal colonization by enteric pathogens. We examined the effect of Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG (LGG) on inhibi...

SIG-DDS: a Grid-based Remote Sensing Data Distribution System

Data distribution is one of the most important steps for the remote sensing applications; it depends on the Remote Sensing Data Distribution System (RS-DDS). The conventional RS-DDS such as GCMD Mapserver [1] or CEOP [2] often provides a web based user interface and supports little data types only. Although the WCS [3]/WFS [4]/WMS [5] purposed by OGC try to make it possible for applications to ...

The Data Diffusion Space for Parallel Computing in Clusters

The data diffusion space (DDS) is an all-software shared address space for parallel computing on distributed memory platforms. It is an extra address space to that of each process running a parallel application under the SPMD (Single Program Multiple Data) model. The size of DDS can be up to 2 bytes, either on 32or on 64-bit architectures. Data laid on DDS diffuses, or migrates and replicates, ...
